Missing Person - Alfred Wells

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 85 calls for service and arrested 1 person.

Missing Person – 201700000755 – West St and Church Circle – 01/31 at 9am: Alfred Wells, 61, of Annapolis was reported missing by family members. Mr. Wells was last seen at the bus stop at West St and Church Circle on January 31^st. Mr. Wells is homeless and frequents the bus stop on West St. Mr. Wells is an African American man, 5’11”, 190 pounds. If anyone has information about Mr. Wells’ whereabouts please contact our detectives at 410-260-3439.

Attempted Burglary – 201700000758 – 1100 block of West St – 02/20 at 5:30pm to 02/21 at 7:30am: Pry marks were found on the doors to two businesses. It does not appear either business was entered.

Theft from Vehicle – 201700000762 – 1400 block of Poplar Av – 02/20 at 11:30pm to 02/21 at 3:30pm: Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
