Annapolis Launches New Permit, Plan and Licensing Platform 


The City of Annapolis will launch a new online permit, plan, and licensing platform to replace e-Trackit. The new system will go live on January 10, 2023. The conversion of records from the City’s old system to the new system is in progress. The new system will handle building permits, trade permits, professional licenses, rental licenses, grading permits and planned development permits, among others. Google Play and Apple Store users can download the app “My Civic 311.” The platform will go live on January 10, 2023 and the link will be available on the City website: www.annapolis.gov. 


AAEDC Announces New Revitalization Tandem Grant Initiative


Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman and Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) Interim CEO Jill Seamon announced a new initiative to complement the Arundel Community Reinvestment (ACR) loan program where who apply and are approved for an ACR loan for up to $100,000 can receive a grant equal to 25 percent of the loan amount for façade improvements.

City of Annapolis and Whiting-Turner Celebrate ‘Topping Out’ of New Hillman Garage


Mayor Gavin Buckley and DPW Director David Jarrell from the City of Annapolis joined the construction crew from Whiting Turner for a “Topping Out” ceremony at the Hillman Garage on Friday, February 3, 2023. A Topping Out ceremony is a celebration of the vertical completion of a structure, a significant project milestone. The Hillman Garage Topping Out celebrates the completion of the concrete structure for the new garage. All five levels of the garage are now in place. With completion of the structural work, the focus of the construction will shift to finishes, electrical, and mechanical work.  


Annapolis Restaurant Week Starts This Month


Restaurants participating in Annapolis Restaurant Week will offer prix fixe menus for you to enjoy. You can indulge in a two-course breakfast between $9.95 and $15.95, a two-course lunch between $12.95 and $19.95, or a three-course dinner between $29.95 and $39.95. Some restaurants even have bonus specials!

Hawkins Cove Living Shoreline Engineering Design Services

The Central Purchasing Office of the City of Annapolis is accepting sealed proposals for engineering design services to design and prepare construction documents, cost estimate, and provide construction support for a living shoreline in Hawkins Cove located near the Annapolis Housing Authority in the Eastport area of Annapolis until 2:00 p.m., local time, Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
