23-01805 - 900 block of President St - Shots Fired 

On 1/21/2023 at approximately 6:35pm, officers responded to the 900 block of President Street for reports of shots fired in the area. Officers located evidence in the area that were consistent with shots being fired. No victims or property damage was located.

23-01853 - Unit block of Market Space - Theft 

On 1/22/2023 at approximately 1:25am, officers responded to a business located in the unit block of Market Space for a reported theft. The manager of the business advised that an unknown person stole a live lobster from a tank inside of the business. Total loss value to the business was $70.00.

23-01856 - 100 block of Main St - Assault 

On 1/22/2023 at approximately 1:39am,  officers responded to the 100 block of Main Street for a reported assault. The adult male victim said that he was punched in the face by an unknown male. The suspect fled the area after assaulting the victim and was not located. 

23-01919 - 700 block of Newtowne Dr - Homicide 

On 1/22/2023 at approximately 6:52pm, officers responded to the 700 block of Newtowne Drive for a reported shooting. Upon arrival officers located an adult male victim lying in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim died on scene from his injuries. Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. 

23-01920 - 100 block of Main St - Theft 

On 1/22/2023 at approximately 8:01pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Main Street for a reported theft. The store manager advised that an unknown male stole an online coffee order from the business. Total loss value to the business was $7.00.

23-01922 - Unit block of West St - Theft 

On 1/22/2023 at approximately 7:00 am, officers responded to the unit block of West Street for a reported theft. The victim advised that someone stole her jacket while she was using a public restroom. The jacket was valued at $50.00.
