23-0576-Attempted armed carjacking-900 block of Forest Dr

On 1/7/2023 at approximately 3:33pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Forest Drive for a reported attempted carjacking. Officers made contact with the victim who advised two men just attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The suspects approached the victim in a business parking lot, displayed a handgun and demanded the victims vehicle. The victim resisted and did not comply with the suspects demands. Both suspects fled the area in a vehicle and were not located. The victim was not injured and nothing was taken.  

23-0635- Theft - 900 block of Wells Ave  

On 1/8/2023 at approximately 10:40am, officers responded to the 900 block of Wells Ave for a reported theft. The victim said that an unknown subject stole his Petimini bicycle from his front porch in the evening hours of 1/7/2023. The bicycle was valued at $169.00.

23-0642- Theft - 900 block of Madison St 

On 1/8/2023 at approximately 12:00pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Madison Street for a reported theft. The vehicle advised that his blue in color Trek bicycle was stolen from his yard sometime overnight. The bicycle was valued at $500.00.

23-0648 - Theft - 100 block of Clay St 

On 1/8/2023 at approximately 2:49pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Clay Street for a reported theft. The victim advised that a subject known to him stole a folding knife from his residence on 1/5/2023. The knife had a value of $100.00.
