22- 27534- Theft from auto- 700 block of Glendon Ave

On 12/30/22 at approximately 8:44am, officers responded to the 700 block of Glendon Ave. for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim said that an unknown person broke into her vehicle. A gift card was stolen from the vehicle.

22-27561- Theft- 100 block of Green St
On 12/30/22 at approximately 3:14pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Green Street for a reported package theft. The victim advised that a package was stolen from his front porch on 12/17/22. 

22-27591- Hit and Run (Pedestrian struck)- Chesapeake Ave and State St
On 12/30/22 at approximately 9:30pm, officers responded to the area of Chesapeake Ave and State St for a motor vehicle crash where a pedestrian was struck. The striking vehicle failed to remain on scene and has not yet been located. The 61 year old victim suffered serious injuries and was air lifted to a trauma center for further treatment. The victim is currently listed in critical condition. Evidence recovered at the scene suggests that the vehicle involved may be a Ford, but we are not ruling out other makes. 22-27645 Theft from Auto- 100 block of West St

On 12/30/22 at approximately 8:00pm, officers responded to the 100 block of West Street for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim advised that she left her vehicle unsecured with her wallet inside of it. When she returned to her vehicle she discovered her wallet was missing. 


22-00005 Stolen/Recovered Auto -unit block of Duke of Gloucester St

On 1/1/2023 at approximately 12:23am, officers responded to the unit block of Duke of Gloucester Street for a reported stolen auto. The victim parked his Ford F150 on Duke of Gloucester Street while attending a party. When he responded back to his vehicle he realized it had been stolen. The vehicle was later located in the 900 block of Royal Street. 


23-00056- Burglary- 500 block of President St
On 1/1/23 at approximately 11:50am, officers responded to the 500 block of President Street for a reported burglary. The victim advised that her home security device captured a male subject entering her property and lifting a screen to a window. The subject never made entry and nothing from the property was taken.

23-00058- Auto Theft- 900 block of Primrose Rd
On 1/1/23 at approximately 12:10pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Primrose Road for a reported auto theft. The victim advised that she parked her 2004 Scion on Primrose Road on 12/31/22 and when she returned the next morning the vehicle was gone.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
