22-26640- Auto Theft- 600 block of Americana Dr
On 12/17/2022 at approximately 8:12am, officers responded to the 600 block of Americana Drive for a reported auto theft. The victim advised that her 2019 Hyundai Elantra was stolen sometime overnight. Officers later located the vehicle unoccupied off of Madison Street.
22-26646- Theft from auto- 1000 block of Timber Creek Dr
On 12/17/2022 at approximately 10:17am, officers responded to the 1000 block of Timber Creek Drive in regards to a theft of a tag from a vehicle. The victim advised that the rear tag to her vehicle was stolen sometime overnight.
22-26652-Theft- Unit block of Franklin St
On 12/17/2022 at approximately 12:14pm, officers responded to the unit block of Franklin Street for a reported theft. The business manager advised that a large cane that was attached to a statue was stolen.
22-26664- Burglary- Unit block of Hicks Ave
On 12/17/2022 at approximately 2:26pm, officers responded to the unit block of Hicks Ave for a burglary that occurred earlier. The victim advised he left his residence and stated the rear door was locked but did not secure the storm door. When he arrived back at his residence he noticed the rear door was broken and unsecured. There was nothing reported missing.
22-26692-Shots fired- 400 block of Captains Circle
On 12/17/2022 at approximately 9:20pm, officers responded to the 400 block of Captains Circle for reports of shots fired. Upon arrival officers canvassed the area and located 1 spent 9mm shell casing outside of the rear door of a building. No property damage or victims were located.
22-26702-Arson-2000 block of Forest Dr
On 12/18/2022 at approximately 12:33am, officers responded to the 2000 block of Forest Drive for a reported fire. The fire was extinguished and fire investigators responded. It was later determined that the fire was intentionally set, fire investigators took over this arson investigation.
22-26755-Theft from auto- 200 block of Hilltop Ln
On 12/18/2022 at approximately 5:52pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Lane for a reported theft from an auto. The victim advised that her vehicle window was broken out and approximately $89.00 worth of valuables were stolen from the vehicle.
22-26759-Theft from auto- 200 block of Hilltop Ln
On 12/18/2022 While on scene for a theft from auto at the above location officers were canvassing the area and located a second vehicle with a broken rear passenger side window. Officers located the owner and upon inspection of the vehicle the owner advised her unknown brand dark purse was missing. The purse contained approximately $4500 in US currency, and various debit and credit cards.
