22-25843 - Theft - 1300 block of Forest Dr

On 12/6/22 Officers responded to a business located in the 1300 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft. The owner of the business advised that an unknown person stole a 3 ft Toy Soldier Christmas decoration from the business property. The decoration had a value of $350.00.

22-25917 - Auto Theft - Unit block of Amos Garrett Blvd
On 12/7/22 Officers responded to the unit block of Moas Garrett Blvd for a reported auto theft. The victim advised that his 2022 Toyota Camry had been stolen. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 8pm on 12/6/22 and 9am on 12/7/22.

22-25914 - Theft - 100 block of Hillsmere Dr
On 12/7/22 Officers responded to the 100 block of Hillsmere Dr for a reported theft. The employee of the business advised that someone stole a EcoX speaker valued at $250.00.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
