22-25486 - Theft from vehicle - Unit block of Bricin St

On 12/1/22 Officers responded to the unit block of Bricin Street for a reported theft from a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle advised that someone cut off and stole the catalytic converter to his 2007 Honda CRV. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime overnight. 


22-25505 - Theft - 600 block of Third St

On 12/1/22 Officers responded to the 600 block of Third Street for a reported theft. The owner of the business advised that an unknown male subject entered the business and stole money. The money which was estimated at $350.00 was stored in a wicker basket at the time of the theft. 


22-25526 - Theft from vehicle - 900 block of Spa Rd

On 12/1/22 Officers responded to the 900 block of Spa Road for a reported theft from a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle advised that someone stole the catalytic converter from her Kia Sportage sometime overnight. 


22-25534 - Theft - 900 block of Bay Ridge Rd

On 12/1/22 Officers responded to the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road for a reported theft. The victim advised that she was shopping when an unknown person stole money and credit cards from her purse that was hanging on the side of her shopping cart. Approximately $60.00 and two credit cards were stolen.  


22-25537 - Burglary - Unit block of Belle Ct

On 12/1/22 Officers responded to the unit block of Belle Court for a reported burglary. The homeowner arrived home to find her sliding glass door pried open. It was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen from the residence.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
