22-24978 Shooting 200 block of Victor Pkwy

On 11/23/22 at approximately 5:48pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Victor Pkwy for a report of a shooting.  Upon officers arrival they located a shooting victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. That victim was subsequently transported to an area trauma center for medical treatment. Moments later, APD dispatch broadcasted that Anne Arundel Medical Center personnel reported that a walk-in shooting victim arrived suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives responded and assumed this investigation. 


22-25047- Stabbing- 100 block of Obery Ct

On 11/24/22 at approximately 3:30pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Obery Court for a reported stabbing. Responding officers located the victim outside of a residence bleeding from the upper torso. The victim advised that a subject attempted to rob him when he was stabbed. The suspect fled prior to officers arrival, the victim was airlifted to an area trauma center for further medical treatment.

22-25135 -  Armed Robbery -1700 block of Forest Dr. 

On 11/26/22 at approximately 1:53am, officers responded to a business located in the 1700 block of Forest Drive for a reported armed robbery. Upon arrival officers spoke to several store employees who advised that they were held at gunpoint while two masked men attempted to rob the business. The victims were not injured, the suspects fled the store and were not located. 

 
22-25213-Burglary-1900 block of Forest Dr

On 11/27/22 at approximately 5:14am, officers responded to a business located in the 1900 block of Forest Drive for a reported burglary. Officers found a rear door to the business ajar and a cash register laying on the floor. The owner of the business responded and advised that the cash register previously contained approximately $200.00. The suspects in this incident fled prior to officers arrival and were not located.


22-25227-Theft-1700 block of Forest Dr
On 11/27/22 at approximately 11:57 am, officers responded to the 1700 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft of a trailer. The owner advised that a trailer belonging to him was stolen from that location. The trailer contained sound equipment belonging to a church. The trailer and sound equipment had a value of approximately $95,000.


22-25225-Burglary-300 block of Center St
On 11/27/22 at approximately 11:01am, officers responded to the 300 block of Center Street for a reported burglary. The victim advised that he came home to find his front door forced open. He later discovered that several pairs of sneakers and his Playstation 5 were missing. Total loss value was estimated at approximately $2,850.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
