22-23185- Assault- 200 block of Hilltop Lane
On 11/1/22 at approximately 5:52pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Lane for a reported assault. Upon arrival officers did locate an adult male suffering from a laceration to the back of his head. Officers spoke to that male who advised that he was assaulted by another adult male. Officers spoke to the other male involved who advised that he acted in self defense. The victim was treated by the Annapolis Fire Department for his injuries. An exchange of information was completed for both parties involved.
22-23258 - Theft from auto- 200 block of Prince George Street
On 11/2/22 at approximately 5:39pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Prince George St for a reported theft from auto report. The victim said that his vehicle was parked on Prince George St on 10/31 and when he returned on 11/2 he noticed it had been broken into. The victim reported a North Face backpack stolen. The backpack contained several items with a total loss value of $1,253.
Thanksgiving food drive
Each year the Annapolis Police Department holds a Thanksgiving Food Drive to provide a full Thanksgiving meal to our friends and neighbors in need. We are looking for bags of potatoes, bags of onions, jars of gravy, cans of cranberry sauce, cans of sweet potatoes, cans of green beans, bags or boxes of stuffing. cans of mushroom soup, french fried onions, and boxed macaroni and cheese. Thanks so much for your support! We are accepting donations until November 16th at the Police Department-199 Taylor Avenue.
