22-22705 - Burglary - 1900 block of West St
On 10/27/2022 at approximately 5:47am, officers responded to the 1900 block of West Street for a reported burglary. The business manager advised that someone broke in over night by smashing the front glass window. Once inside the unknown suspect stole a donation box full of money.
22-22723 - Theft from auto - Unit block of Bricin Ct
On 10/27/2022 at approximately 10:29am, officers responded to the unit block of Bricin Ct for a reported theft from auto. The victim advised that her vehicle was left unsecured overnight. She later discovered that someone entered the vehicle and stole two wallets, her passport and social security card.
22-22738 - Theft - 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave
On 10/27/2022 at approximately 12:45pm, officers responded to the 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave for a reported theft. A store employee advised that two subjects entered the business to purchase a $2,800 money order. During the exchange of money, the suspects only gave the cashier $1,400 before leaving with the money order. .
Thanksgiving Food Drive
Each year the Annapolis Police Department holds a Thanksgiving Food Drive to provide a full Thanksgiving meal to our friends and neighbors in need. We are looking for bags of potatoes, bags of onions, jars of gravy, cans of cranberry sauce, cans of sweet potatoes, cans of green beans, bags or boxes of stuffing. cans of mushroom soup, french fried onions, and boxed macaroni and cheese. Thanks so much for your support! We are accepting donations until November 16th at the Police Department-199 Taylor Avenue.
