22-22533 - Assault - 900 block of Bay Ridge Rd

On 10/24/22 at approximately 6:23pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road for a reported assault. An employee of a business was loading trash into a dumpster when he was assaulted. The victim advised that a vehicle approached him and the occupants of the vehicle began throwing rocks at him. The victim was hit in the head with a rock which caused a laceration. The suspects in the vehicle fled and were not located.

22-22538 - Theft - 100 block of Forbes St

On 10/24/2022 at approximately 7:35pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Forbes Street for a reported theft. The victim advised that her wallet was stolen from her office and her credit cards were later fraudulently used. Total loss to the victim was approximately $550.00.

22-22546 - Theft from auto - 1800 block of Yawl Rd.

On 10/24/2022 at approximately 9:47pm, officers responded to the 1800 block of Yawl Rd for a report of a theft from auto. The victim advised that someone stole her brown wallet containing $40, her license, and credit cards from her unsecured vehicle.

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
