22-22247 - Stabbing - Marda Ln. and Janwall St.

On 10/21/22 at approximately 2:11am, officers responded to the area of Marda Lane and Janwall Street for a reported stabbing. Officers met with the victim of the incident who advised that he was stabbed multiple times by a subject known to him. The victim said that the two were in a vehicle and the dispute occurred over money owed to the suspect. Annapolis Fire Department arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment for his injuries. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arrival and has not yet been located.

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
