22-22050 - Burglary - 1600 block of Cedar Park Rd

On 10/18/22 at approximately 1:18pm, officers responded to the 1600 block of Cedar Park Road in reference to a theft. The victim advised that someone entered her backyard and stole a gas can that was filled with approximately $20.00 worth of fuel.

22-22061 - Theft - 1000 block of Kensington Way

On 10/18/22 at approximately 5:00pm, officers responded to the 1000 block of Kensington Way for a reported theft. The victim advised that Amazon delivered a package containing tires to her doorstep. When the victim went to retrieve the tires they were gone. Total loss value was $473.72.

22-22078-Theft-1700 block of Forest Dr
On 10/18/22 at approximately 9:11pm, officers responded to the 1700 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft in progress. The store employee advised that a female entered the business and stole several items. The female passed all points of payment with no intention to pay for the items. Total loss value to the business was $66.24.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
