22-21964 - Burglary - 700 block of Glenwood St
On 10/17/22 at approximately 10:55am, officers responded to the 700 block of Glenwood Street for a reported burglary. The victim advised that someone entered her unsecured apartment and stole a ring that was valued at $2,500.

22-22021 Armed Robbery 100 block of Clay St.
On 10/17/22 at approximately 11:33pm, officers were on routine patrol in the area of West Washington Street and Clay Street. While in the area officers were approached by an adult male who advised that he had just been assaulted and robbed of his belongings at gunpoint. The two suspects stole the victim's IPhone 12 and his Airpods before running off. The victim did not require medical attention and the suspects were not located.

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
