22-21510 - Theft - 100 block of Compromise St

On 10/11/2022 Officers responded to the 100 block of Compromise Street for a reported theft of a bicycle. The victim advised that she left her bike secured in that area on 9/29 and when she returned on 10/10 the bike was gone.

22-21512 - Theft from vehicle - 600 block of Genesee St

On 10/11/2022 Officers responded to the 600 block of Genesee Street for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim advised that someone entered her vehicle and stole approximately $2 in loose change.

22-21527 - Theft - 100 block of Main St

On 10/11/2022 Officers responded to the 100 block of Main Street for a reported theft. The victim advised that someone stole her husband's bicycle from the bike rack located in the unit block of Market Space. The bike was valued at approximately $1000.

22-21560 - Armed Robbery - 2000 block of West St

On 10/11/2022 at approximately 10:46pm, officers responded to the 2000 block of West Street for a reported armed robbery. The victim advised that he was riding on his bicycle after leaving a local liquor store. He was approached by several subjects who knocked him from his bike and assaulted him. The subjects stole the victim's wallet, bicycle and beer before fleeing the area. The victim was treated and released from a local hospital for minor injuries.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
