22-20624 - Theft from vehicle - 100 block of Duke of Gloucester St
On 9/29/22 at approximately 8:07am, officers responded to the 100 block of Duke of Gloucester Street for a reported theft. The victim advised that an unknown person unlawfully entered his vehicle and stole several items. The stolen items included a swiss army knife, GPS and a Halo Bolt.

22-20673 - Theft - 7000 block of Edgewood Rd
On 9/29/22 at approximately 5:00pm, officers responded to the 7000 block of Edgewood Road for a reported theft. The victim advised that sometime between 8/29-9/29 someone stole his jet ski trailer from the parking area where it was being stored.

22-20675 -Theft -1900 block of West St
On 9/29/22 at approximately 4:52pm, officers responded to a business located in the 1900 block of West Street for a reported theft. The owner of the business advised that a female entered the business and began trying on wigs. The owner advised the female that wasn't allowed at which point the female left the business with a wig and failed to pay for it.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
