22-20087 - Burglary - Unit block of Abney Ln.
On 9/21/22 at approximately 11:30 am, officers responded to the unit block of Abney Lane for a reported burglary to a vacant apartment. Maintenance reported theft burglary. There were signs of forced entry to the apartment, the door frame appeared to be broken after being kicked in or pryed open.
22-20095 - Theft from auto - Unit block of Randall St.
On 9/21/22 at approximately 12:34pm, officers responded for a theft of a registration plate. The victim who resides in the unit block of Randall Street said that someone stole the rear plate from his 2016 Honda motorcycle. It is believed that the theft took place on 9/20/22.
22-20121 - Theft - 2000 block of Somerville Rd.
On 09/21/22 at approximately 7:28pm, officers responded to the 2000 block of Somerville Road for a reported theft. The victim advised that she was patronizing a local establishment when she became distracted and left her purse unattended on a table. The victim later discovered that her wallet was stolen from her purse. The wallet contained $400, U.S. Passport, credit cards, Social Security card and other misc. cards.
22-20134 - 600 block of Tripp Creek Ct - Aggravated Assault
On 9/21/22 at approximately 10:22pm, officers responded to the 600 block of Tripp Creek Court for a reported assault. The victim was operating as a Taxi said that he picked up two individuals and an argument later ensued inside of the vehicle. One of the subjects punched the victim several times in the face and brandished a knife. Officers responded and arrested Jesus Alvarez Luengas and charged him with the assault.
