22-18022- Theft from vehicle- 100 block of Archwood Ave
On 8/23/22 at approximately 11:26am, officers responded to the 100 block of Archwood Ave. for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim reported that his Cinelli mens bicycle was stolen from his vehicle. The bicycle was valued at approximately $3,000.

22-18026- Theft- Unit block of Gibralter Ave
On 8/23/22 at approximately 11:41am, officers responded to the unit block of Gibralter Ave in reference to a stolen trailer. The victim advised that a subject rented a 2022 Anderson T17126TS trailer bearing on 08/08/2022. The subject did not return the trailer on 08/16/2022 when he was supposed to. Victim advised they rented the trailer online, so he did not have contact with the subject , did not check the subject's ID, and does not have a record of the subject's credit card number.

22-18044 -Shooting 1800 block of Copeland St

On 8/23/22 at approximately 5:18pm, officers responded to the 1800 block of Copeland Street for a report of a subject down. Upon arrival officers located an 18 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound to a lower extremity. The victim was transported to an area trauma center in stable condition.

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
