22-17528 - Theft - Unit block of Munroe Ct.

On 8/15/22 Officers responded to the unit block of Munroe Court for a reported theft. The victim advised that he left his vehicle unsecured in the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road while he was shopping. When he returned to his vehicle he discovered the handicap placard missing from the rear view mirror.

22-17547 - Auto theft - 1300 block of Forest Dr.

On 8/15/22 Officers responded to the 1300 block of Forest Drive for a reported auto theft. The victim advised that he parked his 2008 Ford Taurus at that location unsecured with the keys in the ignition. The victim returned to his vehicle several hours later to discover it missing.

22-17554 - Theft from auto - 100 block of New Vernon St.

On 8/15/22 Officers responded to the 100 block of New Vernon Street for a reported theft from auto. The victim advised that she left her vehicle unsecured with the keys in the ignition. She later returned to her vehicle to discover that someone entered it and stole the keys.

No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
