22-16960 - TFA - Unit block of Goodrich Rd.

On 8-6-2022 at approximately 6:09pm, officers responded to the unit block of Goodrich Ave. for a reported theft. The victim advised that the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle sometime overnight.

22-16978 - Theft - 400 block of Severn Ave.

On 8-6-2022 at approximately 11:50pm, officers responded to the 400 block of Severn Ave. for a reported theft. The victim said that while she was working she stored her purse in the common area where employees store their personal belongings. When she went to retrieve her purse, it was gone.

22-16973 - Auto Theft - 1200 block of Tyler Ave.

On 8-6-2022 at approximately 9:00pm, officers responded to the 1200 block of Tyler Ave for a reported stolen auto. The victim advised that his 2005 Infiniti G35 was stolen from his driveway. The victim heard his vehicle start and when he looked out his window he saw a male and female driving away with it.

22-16995 - Assault- Unit block of Dock St.

On 8-7-2022 at approximately 4:22am, officers responded to the unit block of Dock St. for a reported assault. The victim advised that he was hit in the hand with an umbrella by a person known to him as Vasilly Evstegneev. Evstegneev was located nearby and placed under arrest for assault. The victim sustained a broken finger due to the assault.

22-16999 - Theft - Unit block of W. Washington St

On 8-7-2022 at approximately 4:35am, officers responded to the unit block of West Washington Street for a reported theft. The victim said that he fell asleep on a public bench and when he woke up he was missing money from his wallet that was laying on the ground next to him. Total loss value to the victim was $740.00.

22-17036 - Theft - 900 block of Forest Dr

On 8-7-2022 at approximately 4:15PM, officers responded to the 900 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft. A store employee advised that a subject stole two lawn ornaments from the business. The subject placed the lawn ornaments into his truck and drove away. Total loss to the business was $47.98.

22-17042 - Theft - 200 block of Pump House Rd

On 8-7-2022 at approximately 8:13pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Pumphouse Road for a reported theft. The victim advised that he was at the public pool and while he was showering his wallet was stolen. Total loss to the victim was $50.00.

22-17062 - Burglary - Unit block of Shipwright St

On 8-8-2022 at approximately 1:44am, officers responded to the unit block of Shipwright Street for a reported burglary. The victim said he was sleeping on his boat when he heard sounds coming from the living space of the boat. The victim investigated the noise and discovered an unknown male rummaging through the kitchen cabinets. When confronted, the male fled on foot. Nothing was stolen from the boat but damage to a door and lock was done, having a total of $100.00.

No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
