On 7/14/22 at approximately 7:48am, officers responded to the 1500 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft. The store employee advised that a subject entered the store and stole a carton of cigarettes. Total loss value to the business was $111.15.

22-15129-Theft-1900 block of West St
On 7/14/22 at approximately 11:24am, officers responded to the 1900 block of West Street for a reported theft. The manager of the business said that a subject stole an ashtray valued at $10.00.

22-15146-Theft-1900 block of Forest Dr
On 7/14/22 at approximately 3:20pm, officers responded to the 1900 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft. An employee of the business advised that a female entered the establishment the day prior and stole several packages of laundry detergent. The total loss value is unknown.

22-15149-Theft-1700 block of West St
On 7/14/22 at approximately 3:43pm, officers responded to the 1700 block of West Street for a reported theft of services. A business employee advised that a subject had maintenance completed on his vehicle but left without paying for the service. Total loss valued was $125.00.

22-15177 - Theft - 900 block of Bay Ridge Ave.

On 7/14/22 at approximately 10:15pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road for a reported theft. The store manager advised that a male subject entered the store and stole 9 bags of shrimp. The suspect was not located.

22-15178 - Assault 1st Degree- West. St.

On 7/14/22 at approximately 11:14pm, officers responded to the unit block of West Street for a reported assault. An employee of the business advised that a male subject entered the business and threatened him with a knife. The victim was not injured and the suspect has not yet been identified.

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
