22-15031 - Burglary/ Auto theft - 1900 block of Forest Dr.

On 7/13/22 at approximately 5:00am, officers responded to the 1900 block of Forest Drive for a reported burglary. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple vehicles passing them at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated, but occupants failed to stop. Investigation revealed that two 2021 Mercedes Benz were stolen along with several sets of keys belonging to other vehicles.

22-15040-Theft from auto- 600 block of Island Creek Ct.

On 7/13/22 at approximately 8:35am, officers responded to the 600 block of Island Creek Court for a reported theft from auto. The victim advised that their vehicle was unlawfully entered and $2,500 was stolen.

No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
