22-14819 - Theft - 1300 block of Tyler Ave

On 7-10-22, at approximately 9:22pm, officers responded to the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue for a reported theft. The victim advised that his motor scooter was stolen from the rear of his residence. The scooter was valued at $1,000.

22-14829 - Shooting - 1300 block of Tyler Ave

On 7-10-22 at approximately 11:13pm, officers responded to the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue for a reported shooting. Two adult victims suffering from injuries consistent with being shot were located. Both were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle and were not located.

22-14838 - Theft - Unit block of Dean St

On 7-11-22 at approximately 12:39am, officers responded to the unit block of Dean Street for a reported package theft. The victim advised that a weekly food delivery service was stolen from his front porch. The package was valued at $123.89.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
