22-11598 - Theft - Unit block of Jefferson Place
On 6/3/22 at approximately 7:12am, officers took a report for a theft of a bicycle in the unit block of Jefferson Place. The bicycle was described as a blue in color beach cruiser valued at approximately $700.00. The bicycle was later located on Jefferson Place and returned to the owner.

22-11759-Theft- 600 block of Burnside Street

On 6/4/22 at approximately 12:03am, officers responded to the 600 block of Burnside Street for a reported theft of a bicycle. The victim advised that he witnessed an unknown male steal his Trek bicycle valued at approximately $900.00 from his front porch. An area canvass was done but the subject was not located.

22-11761-Shots fired- 1400 block of Tyler Avenue

On 6/4/22 at approximately 12:22am, officers responded to the 1400 block of Tyler Ave. for a report of shots fired. While on scene officers located evidence of a firearm being discharged. Officers also located at least one home that was damaged by apparent gunfire. No injuries were reported.

22-11764-Shots fired- President St and Jackson Street

On 6/4/22 at approximately 12:58am, officers responded to the area of President Street and Jackson Street for reports of shots fired. Officers spoke to a motorist who advised that while traveling on President Street their vehicle was struck by gunfire. The vehicle had several holes in it consistent with being shot, no injuries were reported. Officers also located further evidence at the intersection of President Street and Jackson Street.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
