22-10863 - Theft/Auto - 1100 block of West Street
On 5/25/22 at approximately 10:45am, officers responded to the 1100 block of West Street for a reported theft from auto. The victim advised that an unknown person entered her unsecured vehicle and stole her insurance card and owners manual. Total loss value was $30.00.

22-10874 - Theft/Auto - 500 block of Taylor Ave
On 5/25/22 at approximately 11:00am, officers responded to the 500 block of Taylor Ave. for a reported theft from auto. The victim advised that an unknown person stole his rear Florida license plate off of his vehicle. The theft occurred sometime between 5/20 and 5/25.

22-10895 - Theft - 100 block of Hillsmere Drive
On 5/25/22 at approximately 2:43pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Hillsmere Drive for a reported theft. An employee of the business advised that four individuals entered the business and stole 6 pairs of sunglasses before fleeing in a vehicle. Total loss value to the business was $300.00.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
