22-09662 - Theft from vehicle - Unit block of Hudson St

On 5/9/2022 officers responded to the unit block of Hudson Street for a reported theft of tags. The victim reported that an unknown person stole the front and rear tags from their vehicle.

22-09664 - Auto theft - 200 block of Parker Ave

On 5/9/2022 officers responded to the 200 block of Parker Ave for a reported auto theft. The victim reported that an unknown person stole her 2013 Toyota Prius sometime overnight.

22-9722 - Burglary - 100 block of West St

On 5/9/2022 officers responded to the 100 block of West Street for a reported burglary. An employee of the business stated that an unknown male unlawfully entered the business and attempted to steal a case of wine. The wine was later found in the basement of the building, no forced entry was made.

22-9721 - Theft - 1000 block of Jackson St.

On 5/9/2022 officers responded to the 1000 block of Jackson Street for a reported theft of a BG&E meter. The victim advised that an unknown person stole the meter from the side of her home. BG&E was contacted and later replaced the meter.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
