22-07359 - Theft - 900 block of Forest Dr.

On 4/6/2022 at approximately 3:05pm, officers responded to a business located in the 900 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft. An employee of the business said that a female patron of the business was seen stealing the magnet from where it was originally displayed. The magnet had a value of $10.49.

22-07368 - Theft- 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave.

On 4/6/2022 at approximately 7:17pm, officers responded to the 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave. for a reported theft that just occurred. The manager of the business advised that a male subject stole several boxes of Prilosec from the business. A description of the subject was provided to officers and the subject was located nearby. The subject was identified as Jerel Jamison, Jamison was in possession of 8 boxes of Prilosec. Jamison was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. Total loss to the business was $195.92.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
