22-06762 - Burglary - 100 block of Green St.
On 3/29 Officers responded to the 100 block of Green St for a report of a burglary. The victim advised someone entered her residence through an unlocked rear door and rummaged through her residence. The security cameras were reviewed and the suspect was identified to be James Allen Thomas (DOB 03/19/70). Thomas was already in custody at this time when the burglary was reported for a different incident (Rogue and vagabond #22-6755). Thomas was also in possession of stolen items from that residence at the time he was arrested.. He was charged accordingly.
22-06777 - Burglary - 1900 block of Copeland St.
On 3/29 Officers responded to the 1900 block of Copeland St. for a burglary. The victim reported that an unknown person entered her residence and stole a handgun from her dresser drawer. The gun was described as a 9mm Ruger Taurus.
