22-06231 - Theft- 300 block of First Street
On 3/21/22 at approximately 10:10am, officers responded to the 300 block of First Street for a reported theft. The manager of the business advised that a customer purchased a GPS system using a credit card. The GPS was shipped to the customer at which time the transaction was reversed and the business was unable to collect payment. Total loss value to the business was $15,248.22.
22-06235 - Stolen/ Recovered stolen auto- 100 block of Monticello Ave.
On 03/21/2022 at approximately 11:00am, officers responded to the 100 block of Monticello Ave. for a reported stolen vehicle. The victim advised that her 2022 BMW was stolen from the rear of her residence where she parked it. BMW was able to track the vehicle to the 800 block of Spa Road where it was located unoccupied. The vehicle was recovered by the owner.
22-06252-Assault - 1800 block of Copeland Street
On 3/21/22 at approximately 4:29pm, officers responded to the 1800 block of Copeland Street for a reported assault in progress. When officers arrived they located the victim who was a postal worker. The victim was bleeding from the face and ear. The victim advised officers that he was attacked by an unknown male at random. The victim was punched in the face and had an earring ripped from his ear. The unknown suspect fled the area in a vehicle prior to officers arriving.
22-06256 Theft from Auto- Unit block of Clay Street
On 3/21/22 at approximately 6:09pm, officers responded to the unit block of Clay Street and spoke with the victim in reference to a theft from auto. After speaking with the victim it was discovered that the victims vehicle had been unlawfully entered and several items were stolen. The stolen items included jewelry, loose change and a bottle of Motrin. Total loss value to the victim was approximately $304.00.
