22-5491 - Theft - 700 block of Glenwood St
On 3/11/22 Officers responded to the 700 block of Glenwood St for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated a female known to him as stole $45.00 from his wallet.

22-5522 - Theft - 1300 block of Tyler Ave
On 3/11/22 Officers responded to the 1300 block of Tyler Ave for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who advised his ex-girlfriend had stolen his American Pitbull Terrier 3 weeks ago. The victim stated that he paid $1,000 for the dog.

22-5585 Stolen Auto 1900 block of Forest Dr

On 3/12/22 Officers responded to the the 1900 block of Forest Drive for a reported auto theft. The victim said that he left his vehicle running in front of a business and while he was inside an unknown person drove off with his vehicle. The vehicle was described as a black in color 2012 Toyota Camry bearing md registration 5ef2646.

22-5613 - Theft - 400 block of Sixth St
On 3/13/22 Officers responded to the 400 block of Sixth Street for the report of a theft from the night before. Officers met with store management who advised that while reviewing video surveillance from 03/12/22 he witnessed an unidentified female steal various food items to the total of $30.74.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
