22-005298 Armed Robbery 2000 block of West Street
On 3/8 at approximately 5:41pm, officers responded to a business located in the 2000 block of West Street. The Caller advised that a subject came in the store waiving an axe and was breaking into the display case. Once on scene investigation revealed that the suspect stole 2 chrome book laptops from a glass display case. One employee was struck in the forearm with the axe and the other fled out of the rear of the business due to fear of injury or death. The suspect fled the store with the stolen property towards Kirby lane. Officers were able to identify a possible suspect based on witness information. .The suspect was located in the unit block of Kirby Lane where was placed under arrest, transported to APD, and charged appropriately. The suspect was identified as Tramar Galloway 11/24/78.
22-005312 Shots Fired/ Destruction of property 1100 block of President St.
On 3/9 at 12:39am, officers responded to the area of Madison St and President St for a report of shots fired in the area. A secondary caller later reported that her house had been struck with bullets. Officers responded and located shell casings in front of the address. A crime scene was established and evidence was later collected. No persons were injured, however the home sustained broken windows as well as damage inside of the home.
