22-2659 - Theft - 600 block of Tuckahoe Creek Ct.

On 2/5/22 Officers responded for a reported theft of a debit card in the 600 block of Tuckahoe Creek Court. The victim advised that her bank mailed her a new debit card but she never received it. The victim later discovered that two unauthorized purchases were made using her card. The victim has since contacted her banking institution to cancel the card. Total loss value was $1,547.22.

22-2702 - Theft - 2000 block of West St.

On 2/5/22 Officers responded to the 2000 block of West Street for a reported theft from a business. The clerk on duty advised that a male subject entered the business and stole two packs of cigarettes. Total loss value to the business was $22.00.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
