DHCD’s Community Safety Works Grants available for Business District improvements. Organizations may request a maximum grant of $100,000 for community-related/business district-related safety improvements that implement the business district’s plan for making public and private spaces safer and more defensible. IRS is hosting Hearing All Voices IRS Small Business Workshop and Listening Sessions for small business organizations and owners in February and March, especially those that conduct business in languages other than English. These 2-hour events will include presentations from IRS leadership from Examination, Collection and Taxpayer Advocacy covering the top tax issues affecting small business owners regarding income, deductions, employment taxes and recordkeeping.
