Which parks and trails do you enjoy in the City of Annapolis? Do you know where they are all located? There are many from waterfront parks to nature parks to playgrounds to sports fields. This complete listing of the Parks, Trails and Playgrounds in the City should be helpful for you. Watch the Parks & Trails video that shares visually all the outdoor open spaces that the City of Annapolis has to offer!

Park Locator site – to find parks, trails and playgrounds in the City of Annapolis. There are more than 200 acres of open space and 38 parks and trails waiting for your visit!

Map of Truxtun Park – refer to this helpful document to locate all the amenities in Truxtun Park!

*NEW* Playgrounds webpage – there is a new page on our website specifically for playgrounds! All of the playgrounds listed have Google Map links that take you to the specific locations in Annapolis.
  • Playground Buddy – an app for your mobile device to see where playgrounds are located in Annapolis and the amenities of each one. Refer to the Playground Buddy Facebook page too.
  • New play structures in Annapolis:
    • Hedra® structure behind the “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center
      • The Hedra® is a very uniquely shaped climbing structure that was installed by Sparks@Play. The interactive geometric panels create a hive of varying textures and colors for tactile and visual exploration. Children will work on balance, agility, coordination and muscle strength just by climbing through the Hedra®!
    • Super Netplex® behind the Annapolis Walk Community Center
      • Also installed by Sparks@Play, the Super Netplex® structure is designed for kids age 5-12 and requires users to have sufficient strength and coordination. For the safety of everyone, we request that no one climb on the outside parts of the tall structure (“Single Tower”).
We strongly recommend adult supervision of all children while at these playgrounds. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Parks Division Chief Rodney Dillard at rodillard@annapolis.gov.
