21-34465 - Auto Theft -  300 block of Hilltop Lane

On 12-10-2021 at approximately 7:38am, officers responded to the 300 block of Hilltop Lane in reference to a stolen vehicle. The complainant stated that her 2004 Honda Civic was stolen from that area. The vehicle was legally parked in the complex parking lot at the time of the theft. 

The Honda Civic is light blue in color with a matte black rear bumper. It also has a gray in color trunk which is slightly unaligned on the driver side with North Carolina registration plates.


21-34560 -  Theft from vehicle-200 block of Hilltop Lane 

On 12-11-2021 at approximately 2:43pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Lane for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim stated that someone broke her vehicle's window to gain entry. Her purse and wallet were both stolen from the vehicle. Total loss value to the victim was $1,550.


21-34561 - Theft from vehicle- 200 block of Hilltop Ln 

On 12-11-21 at approximately 2:45pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Lane for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim said that her vehicle was broken into and her purse was stolen. The unknown suspect gained access to the vehicle by breaking out the passenger side window. Total loss value to the victim was $350.00.


21-34631 - Theft - 1100 block of August Drive
On 12-12-21 at approximately 9:45am, officers responded to a reported theft that occurred in the 1100 block of August Drive. The complainant stated on 12/10/2021 an unidentified subject stole a package from his front porch.  Inside the package was a Kindle valued at $200.00

21-34653 - Theft from vehicle - 600 block of Greenbriar Lane
On 12-12-21 at approximately 3:59pm, officers were dispatched to a telephone reporting call in reference to a theft from auto.  Officers made contact with the complainant who advised that he last saw his vehicle on 12/11/21 at approximately 9:00pm and he believed it was locked.  When he returned to his vehicle on 12/12/21 he witnessed $1500 stolen from his wallet which was located in his vehicle.

21-34659 - Theft from vehicle - Unit block of S. Cherry Grove Avenue
On 12-12-21 at approximately 4:17pm, officers were dispatched to a telephone reporting call in reference to a theft from auto.  The complainant advised that he left his vehicle unsecured on 12/11/21 at approximately 6:00pm in front of his residence.  When he returned to his vehicle on 12/12/21 at approximately 6:00am, he witnessed his air pods and a Carhartt jacket had been stolen.  Total loss value to the victim was $550.00.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
