21-32409- 100 block of Dock St - Theft
On 11/12/21 at approximately 9:36am, officers responded for a theft of a purse that occurred in the 100 block of Dock Street. The victim said her purse was stolen while patronizing the establishment.
21-32510 - 100 block of Brightwater Drive - Auto Theft
On 11/13/21 at approximately 1:38pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Brightwater Drive for a reported motor vehicle theft. The victim said that his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen sometime overnight.
21-32537 - 200 block of Gibson Road- Burglary
On 11/13/21 at approximately 7:39pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Gibson Road for a reported burglary. The victim advised that his residence was broken into by an unknown person. A Glock handgun and $115.00 was stolen from the residence.
21-32591 - 1800 block of Copeland St. - Burglary
On 11/14/21 at approximately 1:39pm, officers responded to 1800 block of Copeland St. for a reported burglary. The victim said that when she returned home from work, she noticed her front door had been forced open. The victim noticed damage to the door indicating that her residence had been broken into. It was reported that jewelry was stolen from the residence having a value of $10,000.
21-32606 - 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave.- Theft
On 11/14/21 at approximately 7:31pm, officers responded to the 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave. for a reported shoplifting. The suspect was located and placed under arrest. She was identified as Dameta Pergerson 9/11/1986. Pergerson stole $81.65 worth of merchandise from the business and was charged accordingly.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Annapolis Police Department is accepting donations of food for a Thanksgiving Food Drive until 11/17. We will be providing Thanksgiving meals to local families and donating the remaining food to local food pantries.
What we need:
5# bags of potatoes, 2# bags of onions, jars of gravy, cans of cranberry sauce, cans of sweet potato, cans of green beans, bags or boxes of stuffing, cans of cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions. Other items needed are boxed pastas and pasta sauce, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, soups and other canned meals, boxed macaroni and cheese, healthy snacks like breakfast bars and dried fruit, and baby food.
Please check expiration dates, expired food will not be accepted. You can drop off donations any time at the police department at 199 Taylor Avenue.
