21-31316 - Theft from Auto - 1700 block of Forest Drive
On 10/28/21 at approximately 10:14am, officers responded to the 1700 block of Forest Drive for the report of a theft from auto. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who stated an unknown subject stole the rear registration plate from a white Ford E350 Super Duty van.
21-31320 - Theft from Auto - 1000 block of Van Buren Street
On 10/28/21 at approximately 10:35am, officers responded to the 1000 block of Van Buren Street for a reported theft from an auto. The complainant said that an unknown person stole a bottle of lotion from her vehicle. Total loss value was $10.00.
21-31326 -Theft - 700 block of Newtowne Drive
On 10/28/21 at approximately 10:07am, officers responded to the 700 block of Newtowne Drive for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who stated that her wallet and her boyfriend's wallet were both stolen from her residence. Misc. cards and $40.00 were in the wallets. Maintenance workers had access to the residence during the time of the theft.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Annapolis Police Department is accepting donations of food for a Thanksgiving Food Drive until 11/17. We will be providing Thanksgiving meals to local families and donating the remaining food to local food pantries.
What we need:
5# bags of potatoes, 2# bags of onions, jars of gravy, cans of cranberry sauce, cans of sweet potato, cans of green beans, bags or boxes of stuffing, cans of cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions. Other items needed are boxed pastas and pasta sauce, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, soups and other canned meals, boxed macaroni and cheese, healthy snacks like breakfast bars and dried fruit, and baby food.
Please check expiration dates, expired food will not be accepted. You can drop off donations any time at the police department at 199 Taylor Avenue.
