21-31109- Theft - 1700 block of Forest Dr.

On 10/25/21 at approximately 7:41pm, officers responded to the 1700 block of Forest Drive for a reported theft in progress. The store manager said that a male and female couple entered the store, loaded a shopping cart full of groceries and left without paying. The two left the area in a vehicle and were not located.

21-31121 - 1st Degree Assault/Trespass - Unit block of Silopanna Rd.

On 10/25/21 at approximately 10:23pm, officers responded to the unit block of Silopanna Road for a reported Assault that just occurred. The victim advised that he found a subject in his backyard attempting to steal beer from an outdoor refrigerator. The victim confronted the suspected thief at which time a knife was pulled on the victim and he was threatened. The suspect left in a vehicle with another unknown person, the victim was not injured and nothing was stolen.

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
