21-29715 - Fraud - 200 block of Westgate Cir.
On 10/8/21 at approximately 3:40pm, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Westgate Circle (Severn Savings Bank) for the report of a fraud. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who advised a customer of the bank opened an account in April. The account received 6 deposits, totaling $11,000.00USD. These deposits were withdrawn and the checks later bounced. The bank formed a repayment plan with the customer, but currently they have not received any installments.
21-29716 - Theft from Auto - 600 block of Americana Dr.
On 10/8/21 at approximately 3:50pm, officers responded to the 600 block of Americana Drive for a reported theft from a vehicle. The complainant reported that his vehicle had been broken into overnight. A chainsaw valued at $720.00 was stolen from the vehicle.
21-29781 - Theft from Auto - 600 block of Americana Drive
On 10/9/21 at approximately 10:21am, officers responded to the 600 block of Americana Drive for a reported theft from a vehicle. At approximately 1021 hours, officers responded to 610 Americana Drive for the report of a theft from a vehicle. Officers met with the complainant who advised that someone unlawfully entered his 2018 Toyota Tacoma sometime sometime overnight and stole several items. The stolen items included, Dell latitude laptop computer, gray computer bag with a blue inner lining, a five port POE switch, and his EPA identification. Total loss value to the victim was $800.00.
21-29783 - Theft from Auto - 800 block of Monroe Street
On 10/9/21 at approximately 10:22am, officers responded to the 800 block of Monroe Street for a reported theft from a vehicle. The complainant said that someone unlawfully entered their vehicle sometime overnight. The following items were stolen: Cream colored Michael Kors purse containing $60.00USD, various unknown credit cards, 3 AT&T Gift Cards, 3 Social Security Cards in her children's names, and an EBT Card. Total loss to the victim was $470.00.
21-29835 - Theft/ Destruction of property- 100 block of Dock Street
On 10/9/21 at approximately 10:30pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Dock Street for a reported fight in progress. Several subjects got into an argument in front of Dock Street Bar and Grill. The argument began over an alleged theft of a credit card, and progressed into a scuffle at which time the window to Dock Street Bar and Grill was broken. All parties involved were identified and highly intoxicated. Due to conflicting accounts of the events, a follow up will be conducted once video footage is obtained to ascertain who was the person(s) guilty of breaking the window, and if a theft actually occurred. Total loss to the business was approximately $5000.00.
12-29851 - Armed Robbery- Forest Drive @ Martha Court
On 10/9/21 at approximately 12:50am, officers responded to the area of Forest Drive and Martha Court for a reported armed robbery. The victim advised that he was robbed at gunpoint in that area by two unknown men. The victim's wallet containing $600.00 was stolen during the robbery.
21-29880 - Auto Theft - Unit block of Gentry Court
On 10/10/21 at approximately 10:15am, officers responded to the unit block of Gentry Court for a reported auto theft. The victim said that he parked his Yamaha R1 motorcycle in that area on 10/8/21 and when he returned on 10/10/21 it was gone.
