21-29481 - Theft from Auto - Unit block of Hudson St.
On 10/5/2021 at approximately 11:45am, officers responded to the unit block of Hudson Street for a reported theft from a vehicle. The reporting person advised that the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle. The total loss value to the victim was approximately $900.00.

21-29482 - Theft from Auto - Unit block of Hudson St.
On 10/5/2021 at approximately 12:20 pm, officers responded to the unit block of Hudson Street for a reported theft from a vehicle. The reporting person advised that the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle. The victim valued his loss at $350.00. While on scene, officers were alerted to three additional similar thefts (21-29483, 21-29484, 21-29485). The three additional victims all reported that the catalytic converters were stolen from their vehicles.

21-29399 - Theft - 1900 block of Moreland Parkway
On 10/5/2021 at approximately 11:42am, officers responded for the report of a theft that occurred at a business in the 1900 block of Moreland Parkway. The owner of the business said that several items were sold to a customer that were paid for using a personal check. Once the customer had possession of the items, he canceled the check. Total loss to the business was $1618.37.

If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
