21-29420 - Theft - 700 block of Chase Street
On 10/4/2021 at approximately 3:26pm, officers responded to the 700 block of Chase Street for a reported theft. The victim reported that an IPhone 12 was stolen from her juvenile son. An attempt was made to track the phone but was unsuccessful. The phone was valued at $800.00.

21-29428 - Theft from Auto - 1900 block of Fairfax Road
On 10/4/2021 at approximately 4:46pm, officers responded to the 1900 block of Fairfax Road for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim said that an unknown person unlawfully entered her vehicle and stole loose change. The theft occurred sometime between 10/1 and 10/4.

21-29441- Attempted Burglary- 900 block of Breakwater Drive

On 10/4/2021 at approximately 7:45pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Breakwater Drive for a reported burglary. The victim said that an unknown person attempted to break into her shed by prying the door open. The suspect was unsuccessful in gaining entry into the shed, no property was stolen.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
