21-27265 - 1st Degree Burglary - 400 block of Captains Circle
On 9/10 at approximately 6:16am, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Captains Circle for the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant, who stated that she was having an argument with her child’s father over the phone. The suspect later came to the victims residence and forcibly kicked in the front door. Once inside the residence the suspect assaulted the victim and took her phone with him prior to leaving. Officers searched the surrounding area for the suspect but did not locate him.
21-27273 - Theft - Unit block of Hudson Street
On 9/10 at approximately 9:09am, officers were dispatched to the unit block of Hudson St for the report of a theft. Upon arriving on scene, officers met with the complainant who advised that his bicycle was stolen from the bike rack. The bicycle was described as a purple in color mountain bike valued at $500.00.
21-27311 - Homicide - 400 block of Captains Circle
On 9/10 at approximately 4:42pm, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Captains Circle for the report of an unattended death. The victim was identified as a 17 year old male. Detectives responded and assumed the investigation. There is no further information to release at this time in reference to this incident.
21-27322 - First Degree Assault- Unit block of Marcs Court
On 9/10 at approximately 7:36pm, officers responded to the unit block of Marcs Court in reference to subjects fighting with knives. Upon arrival, officers were able to calm the crowd and speak with several people. It was determined that two adult females were previously fighting and both were armed with knives. The two females were identified as Tracy Parker 12/31/1971 and August Brown 8/2/1997. Parker and Brown were both placed under arrest and charged accordingly.
21-27388 - Theft - 100 block of Vanguard Lane
On 9/11 at approximately 4:24pm, officers were dispatched a telephone reporting call in reference to a theft from a vehicle. The victim advised that he left his vehicle unsecure overnight. When he returned to his vehicle he discovered that an unknown person unlawfully entered it and stole $100 and a $25 gift card.
21-27484 - Burglary- Unit block of Steele Avenue
On 9/12 at approximately 4:45pm, officers responded to the unit block of Steele Avenue in reference to a burglary. The victim advised that a group of juveniles entered her garage and stole two bicycles. The juveniles were later located and arrested but the bikes were not recovered.
