On 8/17/21 at approximately 5:47am, Officers responded to a reported home invasion that occurred in the 1900 block of West Street. The victims were two adults who reported that unknown men forcefully entered their residence. The victims said that the men were armed with semi automatic handguns and wearing masks. The suspects assaulted the victims and stole their cellular phones and other personal items before fleeing the residence. The victims were not seriously injured in this incident. This investigation is being investigated by detectives and anyone with information is urged to contact them. 

21-25197 Theft -2000 block of Solomons Island Road

On 8/17/21 at approximately 3:38pm, officers responded to a business located in the 2000 block of Solomons Island Road for a reported theft. The store manager advised that a male subject entered the business and concealed 5 bags of frozen shrimp in his pants. The male subject attempted to leave the store without paying for the shrimp but was unsuccessful in doing so. The male subject dropped the shrimp and fled the location on a bicycle. Total loss value to the business was $104.95.
