21-24726 Theft from vehicle 1200 block of Gemini Dr.

On August 12th at approximately 9:52am, officers responded to the 1200 block of Gemini Drive for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim advised that an unknown person unlawfully entered her vehicle. The person stole a Macbook Pro, Apple watch, Glock handgun and 2 magazines. Total loss value was approximately $3,000. t

21-24775 - Shooting - Unit block of Bricin St.

On August 12th at approximately 9:55pm Annapolis Police Department Communications began receiving calls for shots fired in the unit block of Bricin Street. Officers responded to the area and did locate an adult male victim suffering from an injury consistent with being shot. The victim has been transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Detectives are investigating this incident. This is an active and fluid investigation and we urge anyone with information about this incident to contact our detectives at 410-260-3439. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
