21-23537 - Theft of tag - Unit block of Garden Gate Ct.
On 7/30/21 at approximately 2:23pm, officers responded to the unit block of Garden Gate Lane in reference to a theft of a trailer tag. The victim advised that an unknown person stole the registration plate that was attached to his parked utility trailer.

21-23621 - 1st Degree Assault -100 block of Bloombury Square -
On 7/31/21 at approximately 10:25am, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Bloomsbury Square, for an assault with a knife in progress.  Upon arriving on scene, officers witnessed a female standing in the doorway to her residence holding a broom.  As officers were speaking with the female a male approached and advised that he was at residence attempting to pick up a check that the female owed him.  At this time, an argument ensued, the female retrieved a knife from the kitchen causing the male to retreat to his vehicle.  While in his vehicle, the female caused damage to the male's vehicle with the broom and the knife.  The female was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. The female was identified as Carla Williams 4/22/1956.

21-23655 - Auto Theft- 200 block of Farragut Ct .
On 7/31/21 at approximately 4:26pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Farragut Road for a reported auto theft. The victim advised that he was delivering food to a residence located in the 200 block of Farragut Road when his vehicle was stolen. The victim left the keys in the ignition and the vehicle was running at the time of the theft. The vehicle was described as a black in color Nissan Sentra.

21-2739- Strong Arm Robbery- 300 block of Garden Gate Lane
On 8/1/21 at 2:55pm, officers responded to the 300 block of Garden Gate Lane in reference to a robbery. The victim advised that he was approached by two unknown subjects. The victim was thrown to the ground and assaulted by being kicked and punched several times. The subjects removed the victims wallet which contained approximately $800.00 and fled the area. The victim sustained injuries to his face, he was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
