21-23080- Auto theft- Unit block of Lafayette Ave.
On 7/26/21 at approximately 7:27am, officers responded to the unit block of Lafayette Ave. in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim advised that someone stole his 2013 Chevy Cruze sometime between 7/23/21 and 7/26/21. The victim said that he had a spare key to the vehicle stored in the center console.

21-23094-Theft- 200 block of Hilltop Lane
On 7/26/21 at approximately 9:56am, officers responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Lane in reference to a theft. The victim reported that someone stole items from their porch overnight. The items taken included tennis shoes, a bookbag, and a t-shirt. Total loss value was $370.00.

21-23103- Theft- 300 block of Severn Ave.
On 7/26/21 at approximately 11:30am, officers responded to the 300 block of Severn Ave. in reference to a theft that occurred earlier. The victim reported that an unidentified person was captured on surveillance stealing an Alexa from the common area of the condos. The Alexa is valued at $49.99.

No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
