Forest Drive Fatal Accident

Officers from the Annapolis Police Department are investigating a fatal traffic accident involving a dirt bike and a vehicle.

At 4:45 pm on May 25th, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Forest Drive and Parole Street. The driver of the dirt bike suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.

At 4:45 pm on May 25th, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Forest Drive and Parole Street.  The dirt bike was heading northwest on Forest Drive.  The vehicle turned left onto Forest Drive from Parole Street heading southeast.  Preliminary investigation reveals the driver of the dirt bike lost control, separated from the dirt bike where he collided with the vehicle.  Speed may have been a factor with the dirt bike driver.
