21-0033 - Theft - 1100 block of Madison St.
On 1/4 at approximately 9:30am, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Madison Street for a reported theft. The victim advised that he gave a subject a ride from Madison Street to the area of Clay Street. When they arrived the subject stole the victim's wallet which contained $60.00.
21-0034 - Theft (from vehicle) - Unit block of Silverwood Circle
On 1/4 at approximately 10:00am, Officers responded to the unit block of Silverwood Circle in reference to a theft from a vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person entered his vehicle and removed the ignition cylinder. Total loss value to the victim was approximately $45.00.
21-0038 - Burglary - 900 block of Edgewood Rd.
On 1/4 at approximately 4:30pm, Officers responded to the 900 block of Edgewood Road for a reported burglary. The property manager advised that an unknown person made entry into the facility and damaged the property. Nothing was reported as being stolen.
21-0039 - Burglary - Unit block of Youngs Farm Ct.
On 1/4 at approximately 6:32pm, Officers responded to the unit block of Youngs Farm Court for a reported burglary. The victim advised that when he returned from a vacation he noticed that his front door had been kicked in. After inventorying his belongings it was determined that nothing was stolen.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
