20-4949 Theft of tags- Unit block of Hicks Ave.
On 12/19/20 at approximately 4:15pm, Officers responded to the unit block of Hicks Ave. in reference to stolen tags. It was discovered that a rear tag and a front tag were taken from two separate vehicles. The rear tag taken is MD tag# 8DA1696 and the front tag taken is MD tag# 235Z82. The vehicles are not often driven and therefore an accurate time frame for the theft is unknown at this time.
20-4955 - Theft (2 bicycles) - 100 block of Granville Ave.
On 12/20 at approximately 12:40 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Granville Ave, for a report of two stolen bicycles. Officers met with the reporting person who advised that two bicycles were stolen from her front porch. Total loss valued to the victim was approximately $50.00.
20-4959 -Theft -1700 block of Forest Drive
On 12/20 at approximately 5:30pm officers responded to the Safeway located in the 1700 block of Forest Drive in reference to a theft that just occurred. The store manager advised that two unknown adults exited the store without paying for grocery items, Total loss value to the store was approximately $283.43.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting.
